The Ministry of Science and Information Technology of South Korea has announced that they will optimize the country's existing software-based mobile networks in preparation for the introduction of 6G networks.
The South Korean government will make it easier for local businesses to make equipment, components, and materials for the 6G network. In addition, a strategy is being developed to ensure that the network's supply of components and materials is coordinated in every way.
A report on the feasibility of basic 6G networking research has already been published.
Officials in South Korea estimate that the 6G project will cost the country 482.1 million dollars. which, according to Pakistani currency, is greater than 40 billion rupees.
The goal of the project is to establish South Korea as a global leader in Internet networking. Between the years 2026 and 2028, the project will be completed. As a result, South Korea has the potential to launch a 6G network for the first time.
Deputy General Manager of Ericsson China Technology Department Zhang Yongtao asserts that 6G will connect the real and virtual worlds. Holographic communication will be closer to reality than ever before thanks to 6G.
