A robot arm filling a car with petrol
HELSINKI, FINLAND: Finland is the first country where petrol pumps are now filled with robots and you don't need to get out of the car.
First of all, it has been developed on the Nestlé robot and it has been developed by a company called 'Autofuel' called Steup. This robot selects the fuel you want and fills the designated fuel vehicle with a human helper.
It will push the scope even further this year to pressurize only one petrol pump. According to the company, this is also an important step towards automatic refuelling in autonomous vehicles. Established in 2018, this company tells you that employees should be spared petrol losses and the process of filling fuel should be done automatically.
Another important point is that this robot can greatly assist many people who have difficulty getting out of their cars and filling up with gas because of a physical disability. Due to the severe weather and snow, Westerners prefer to stay in their cars.
The company claims that if you stop the car, you can read your email or phone messages or even have a cup of coffee and tea while the robot arm fills up with gas. It should be noted that in these countries, people who fill petrol have almost disappeared and people fill their fuel by paying by card.
